Idaho Supreme Court Election – Candidates Forum
There will be several opportunities for the public to hear from the candidates for the Idaho Supreme Court. The Idaho State Bar hosted one such Candidates Forum on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The forum was held at the Idaho Law & Justice Learning Center in Boise, Idaho.

Organizers of the event included Moffatt Thomas attorney, C. Clayton Gill, the Idaho State Bar Litigation Section Chairperson.
The forum was also available via live stream. According to Mahmood Sheikh, Deputy Executive Director of the Idaho State Bar, more than 90 people attended in person plus 150+ online participants.

ABOUT THE FORUM:
Idaho Supreme Court Chief Justice Jim Jones announced his retirement last month. Four candidates are vying for the position: Ms. Robyn M. Brody of Rupert, Hon. Sergio A. Gutierrez of Nampa, Sen. Curtis D. McKenzie of Nampa and Mr. Clive J. Strong of Boise. This forum will be an opportunity to learn about the candidates and to hear answers to questions posed by moderator Marc Johnson of Gallatin Public Affairs.
