Boise Philharmonic Timpani Concert Dedicated to the Memory of Moffatt Thomas Partner, Richard C. Fields

The Boise Philharmonic presents “Timpani Sings,” a concert sponsored by Hon. Stephen and Carol Trott in memory of Moffatt Thomas partner, Richard (Dick) Fields.  The November 8, 2014 concert will be directed by Boise Philharmonic conductor Robert Franz, and will feature William Shaltis on timpani.  More information on the concert is available on the Boise Philharmonic website.

Mr. Fields passed away in April, 2014.  He was known in the legal community as an advocate for professionalism and civility in the practice of law and for legal education.  As long-term patrons of the Boise Philharmonic Association, Dick Fields served as a board member and two years as its president, helping, among other things, with formation of the highly successful Langroise Trio, in collaboration with the College of Idaho. He believed that lawyers should give back to their communities, and he was committed to creating positive and lasting change in his community and the world.
