Professional Profile
Keri Moody joined Moffatt Thomas in 2003. Her bankruptcy responsibilities include direct management of large complex bankruptcy cases and timelines, preparation and review of court documents, and interacting with clients and counsel. She is also experienced in and oversees all phases of judicial and non-judicial foreclosures and unlawful detainer proceedings. In addition to her work on several large complex commercial litigation cases, she works on behalf of numerous large banking and financial institution clients by assisting with loan workouts, preparation and filing of UCC financial statements, and completing due diligence relating to real estate holdings, transactions, and closings. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the area of collections and works with the firm’s clients in obtaining judgments and securing collection on such judgments.
Ms. Moody received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communication with a minor in Business Administration. While at Northwest Nazarene, she was nationally ranked in extemporaneous speaking and parliamentary debate, was a member of forensics honorary Phi Kappa Delta, and was the National Champion in team debate at the 2001 Christian National Tournament. Currently, Ms. Moody volunteers as a coach and judge for both high school and college forensics. She is a Certified Bankruptcy Assistant through the Association of Bankruptcy Judicial Assistants.
